Wastewater Treatment Package Extended Aeration

This package is designed for continuously municipal wastewater treatments. The treated effluent meets the DoE (Department of Environment) water quality standards of Iran. This effluent will hold the standard water quality to be directly disposed to water bodies or be applied for different water usages such as landscape irrigations.

Application

The designed works of this package will remove the grits from the swage through the grit unit. In the next step, the wastewater is followed with a biological process in the extended aeration tank which will lessen large amounts of BOD from the swage. The effluent will then be run into the settling unit for scum removals and consequently will be conducted to the chlorine contact basin to biologically disinfect the effluent with means of removing organic and suspended solid materials from the effluent. The outlet excess sludge from the extended aeration process is transported to the sludge tank.
